We’re really excited to announce our entry into the Great Taste Awards 2018. Ever since our launch back in 2016, we’ve been getting so much amazing feedback on the taste of our products from our lovely customers, we thought it was time to try and make it official.

The Great Taste Awards are organised by The Guild of Fine Food and are the acknowledged benchmark for fine food and drinks. It has been described as the “Oscars” of the food world and the “epicurean equivalent of the Booker prize”.

All entrants are put through a rigorous judging process, incorporating over 500 judges spread across 60 days. The judges, who come from all corners of the food world, blind-taste in teams of 3 or 4, ensuring a fair, open process with a balance of expertise, age and gender. The awards have a number of high profile sponsors, including Harrods and Selfridges, and previous winners include some of the most popular and highly rated food and drink in the country.

We will be entering four of our products into this year’s show – Classic Kimchi, Winter Warmer Sauerkraut, Blueberry & Lavender Kombucha and Lemon & Ginger Jun. We think that these products demonstrate a nice cross-section of our product categories and flavours, and can’t wait to be involved and find out about the results later this year. Watch this space!
