We do our very best to ship out all orders received Mon-Fri before 12:00, on the same day that they are received. Orders received after 12:00 on Friday, or on Saturday and Sunday, will be shipped out on Monday morning.
All orders are sent on a 24 or 48-hour weekday service*, but please bear in mind that we cannot control unforeseen delays with our courier partners - Royal Mail and DHL. And please allow some extra time over Bank Holidays.
All our products are fermented and preserved, so it’s fine that they’re not in the fridge during transit, or if they're left in a safe place or with a neighbour for a few days. However, when they arrive it is best to refrigerate them for long term storage.
Sometimes our jars can leak during transportation, but don't worry, this is normal. The live bacteria produce CO2 and as the gas escapes, some liquid can also get out too. Unpack carefully, give any affected jars a rinse and pop them in the fridge - best before dates are unaffected. If anything is broken, let us know and we will replace it. Please do not reject your order as we are unable to provide refunds if orders are rejected as they have to be disposed of.
Orders over £60 are free to most of the UK*. Below that it’s £6.95 for orders over 2kg and £3.95 for orders under 2kg.

Some of the more remote areas of the UK will travel on a 48-72 hour service - those of you who live in the Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, The Republic of Ireland, The Channel Islands and the Isle of Man will be used to this. We’d love to get our products to you sooner, but a bit of extra time doesn’t affect them at all, so don’t worry.
Also, shipping to some places in the UK costs us a little more, so although we can't offer free delivery to these locations, we do offer a reduced delivery cost when you spend over £50.
Finally, please bear in mind that although we send out orders on either a 24 or 48-hour service - and that our delivery partners meet these targets > 95% of the time - there can always be unforeseen delays for a variety of reasons, so please do bear with us if your order is delayed. We will always help to ensure that your order is delivered safely - or replaced if necessary - but regret that we cannot provide refunds for orders that are delivered late.
